Beginners / Mondays at 7.30 - 9.30pm
This is a new group and it's for beginners.
It's an introduction to the language and the topics covered are basic: Giving and asking for personal information, describing places & people, booking accommodation, shopping for food, drinks & clothes, ordering food at a restaurant, expressing likes & dislikes, describing the weather, comparing properties & furniture.
We don't use a book and the worksheets are provided. We use interactive online resources, PPT presentations, audio tracks, reading texts. We also do writing & speaking activities to work on the four skills.
Elementary / Tuesdays at 7.30 - 9.30pm
This group did 60 hours last academic year and it's not for beginners.
We'll carry on with new topics like, every day & free time activities, describing places in the past, talking about our trips and holidays at present, past and future, what was lifelike when we were kids, our grandparents times, etc.

Upper Intermediate / Wednesdays at 7.30 - 9.30pm
This group has been learning Spanish for a long time.
We'll carry on and work with more complex sentences while focusing on the subjunctive tense. This year we've been practising songs by Spanish & Latin American artists. We went to the Royal Albert Hall for Joaquin Sabina's concert in June. We'll do more interactive activities like Español Terapia, and finish reading the best-selling crime novel El guardian invisible by the Spanish author Dolores Redondo.
