Secondary School / For 11 - 13 year olds

It is a follow-up and an extension of the previous book. It is not for beginners.

It helps them to confidently progress to a higher level of listening, speaking, reading and writing. It involves the children in more grammar.

They can practice the language in real situations as if they were in Spain. For example: going to the swimming pool, a bus or a shopping trip, going to the cinema, going for a walk, visiting a town, going camping, a train journey, helping at home, family routine or a pretend school trip to Madrid.

Secondary School / For 11 - 13 year olds

This is for children who haven't learned any Spanish while at  Primary school. It is suitable for beginners. However, some kids who've done the La Jolie Ronde Programme want to carry on learning and this book is perfect as it supports the curriculum at secondary school.

If they're carrying on, it helps them to confidently progress to a higher level of listening, speaking, reading and writing. If they're beginners, it introduces the language in a fun way. They learn cultural aspects of both Spain & Latin American countries.

Each unit of the book is around a basic topic: Describing yourself, your friends & family, the school, activities & hobbies, celebrations & buying a present and travelling abroad.

In each unit they make a presentation, watch a video, work on the vocabulary, grammar & phonetics, listen to some music or work on a painting or artwork by Latin American & Spanish artists. At the end of each unit, they do a test.

In each unit they make a presentation, watch a video, work on the vocabulary, grammar & phonetics, listen to some music or work on a painting or artwork by Latin American & Spanish artists. At the end of each unit, they do a test.

AQA GCSE - Higher - Mira.jpg

Secondary School / For 14 - 16 year olds

This book is perfect for GCSE exam preparation. It's the latest edition, published in 2016.

In addition, the students get thoroughly prepared  by practising sample tests and old exams to be able to confidently take on their real exams.

Most of the lessons are preferred to be on a one-to-one basis, although they can also do it in small groups of three to five students.
